Butterfly Fest

2025 Photo Gallery

The community enjoyed the 2025 edition of Butterfly Fest, hosted by VillageWalk Garden Club of Bonita Springs. The photos in the slideshow below are just a small sampling of the fun had by all who attended. Hope to see you next year!

March 29, 2025

This annual event is a combination educational event and fund-raiser. We will have speakers discussing the importance of sustainable wildlife practices, free tours of the gardens, and educational experiences. This event is open to the public.

Time: 10 AM – 2 PM

Location: Southern Edge of VillageWalk Community. Upon entry into Village Walk, turn right on the first street (VillageWalk Circle), and drive west, then south, then east until you see all the tents. Find a place to park and join us!

Because VillageWalk is a gated community, we suggest making a reservation to ensure entry through the gate. Please indicate that you want to attend Butterfly 2025 in the Contact Form at the bottom of the page and we will add you to the entry list at the Gate House.

Recent Educational Experiences

Sustainability: At the 2023 Butterfly Festival a member of the Sustainability Committee shared our long-range plan for social, environmental and economic sustainability with individuals at the Butterfly Festival. One important environmental principle shared was recycling. An informational page was distributed, which detailed Lee County’s rules to proper recycling and Publix’s provision to help residents to recycle plastic bags.

Life Cycle of Butterflies: Also in 2023, the Club had a wonderful exhibit to educate visitors on the various stages of butterflies, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. The exhibit was full of photos, signage, and even some plants that are popular with butterflies. Don’t miss this exhibit in 2025!
