Guides the annual operating budget process, working with Club officers and Committee chairpersons.

The Treasurer chairs this Committee and solicits participation from the other Club officers and chairpersons of the various committees. Unless a special need arises, the Finance Committee has one annual task: preparing the operating budget for the next fiscal year.

The Committee meets to review the current year revenues and expenditures and discuss the operating plans for the coming year. A budget is prepared to guide planned activities and forecast the Club’s financial position at the end of the next year. The final work product is submitted to the Executive Board for review and adoption.
