Selling plants, baking goodies, and having fun for the benefit of the VillageWalk Garden Club’s various programs and activities.

The Fundraising Committee is a fantastic way to get involved, meet new friends, and have fun!  Meeting as needed throughout the year, our committee focuses on planning, organizing, and staffing our main fundraising event for the entire Garden Club, the annual Plant & Bake Sale, held on a Saturday in mid-January. 

Volunteers plant up specialized combo pots, offer select herbs, succulents, colorful annual flower bowls, and creative artistic arrangements made using a variety of bromeliads for sale to all VillageWalk residents and friends.  In addition, dozens of volunteers bake cookies, homemade breads, and other pastries for our customers to purchase and enjoy with a cup of coffee while they shop our Plant Sale collection. 

All money generated from these sales goes to offset the cost of our various club trips and tours, fund a wide variety of speakers and programs for our monthly meetings, and help maintain our eleven beautiful butterfly gardens. Our 2026 Plant & Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, January 24 from 9:00 am-noon.
