Greetings from Garden #8
We are a small team of committed caretakers of the land who share a love of all things gardening!
Being new to Florida, and Florida plantings, I decided to take a walk down the garden path where I met Maureen, a fellow Jersey-girl, who encouraged me to attend a Garden Club meeting.
Now that sounded interesting, and so my relationship with these wonderful folks began!
Soon I joined Sheila and Ben and quickly learned all I didn’t know about bees, pollinators, invasive plants, and bromeliads! I may have been a long way from home, but I had a feeling I had just found a place to plant my feet here in the gardens.
There is a wonderful sense of peace during our early mornings in the gardens, and I’ve found a real appreciation for all the time and effort these neighbors have dedicated to the project. Each garden has its own ambience, and each gardener, their own style.
So, when your daily routine seems to say STOP and smell the roses, or in the case of garden 8, the honeysuckle, wander over– you’ll find us by the sign that reads “Meet Me in The Garden.”
