The Gardens

The VillageWalk Butterfly Gardens are made up of eleven smaller gardens that are completely unique and distinct. Volunteers work with a team leader in each garden to create a vision for the individual garden that promotes a particular native plant species, attracts a specific type of butterfly, or a small ecosystem. Each garden is a sight to see.

Each garden has a team of workers that focus specifically on that individual garden at least one day a week. Team members are listed on each garden page. Not listed, but important, are the two “gardeners at large” that are especially important to the garden efforts: Walter Hintz and Chris Whipple.
